At Nancy Campbell Academy, service isn’t just an activity; it’s a core part of our identity. We believe that a meaningful life is found through contributing to the well-being of others.
Our community service program is where students put our school’s values into action, developing their character while making a real and positive impact on the world around them.
Our commitment to service is rooted in the belief that students should be active agents in bettering their communities.
It’s an opportunity to develop individual potential, gain practical work experience, and understand complex social issues firsthand.
This hands-on approach to learning helps students build empathy, leadership, and a sense of joyful purpose that lasts a lifetime.

Students have ongoing opportunities to work with children and junior youth.
This includes acting as volunteer “animators” in the Junior Youth Empowerment Program to help guide youth aged 11-15 and working with “little buddies” on special projects at local elementary schools.
Through our World Citizenship Curriculum, senior students lead a real community initiative from start to finish as a capstone project.
Younger students also take the lead, such as the Grade 7/8 students who ran a school-wide composting project.

"NCA is “a place that cultivates leadership in spades,” praising our students for showing what’s possible when service, integrity and unity guide your life."

Inspired by the principles of service and unity in diversity, Nancy Campbell Academy is a world embracing school where students find authentic happiness in a supportive community.
We offer a unique education that values character as much as grades, preparing students for a life of leadership and purpose.
We acknowledge that Nancy Campbell Academy is located on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Neutral (Attawandaron) peoples. We honour their enduring relationship with this land and recognize the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples who continue to enrich this community today.
We are grateful for their stewardship of this land and acknowledge our shared responsibility to listen, learn, and contribute to the ongoing journey of truth and reconciliation. Guided by the principle of the oneness of humanity, we strive to build a community where every person is valued, diversity is embraced, and unity is fostered through service, justice, and mutual respect.
