Grade 11 Service Trip

The Grade 11 Service Trip: Leading with Heart, Around the World

Each year, our Grade 11 students embark on what is often described as one of the most transformative experiences of their life: the NCA Service Trip.

For about ten days, students travel internationally to connect with other young people, share their talents, and learn what it truly means to be a global citizen. This is where our mission of service comes to life.

More Than a Trip, It’s a Mission

The service trip is a core part of our commitment to providing a real-world experience with a global vision. It is an opportunity for our students to step outside their comfort zones, address world issues, and understand the power they have to inspire others and make a positive impact.

A Journey of Performance and Connection

The heart of the service trip is a performing arts workshop where students learn and execute a whole series of dance performances for other schools.

Traveling to international destinations like Dominica, Saint Kitts, and other parts of the Caribbean, they perform in front of thousands of youth in local high schools.

After their performances, they connect directly with the students, discussing important social issues and inspiring them to make informed and responsible choices in their own lives.

The Transformative Impact

Each year, our Grade 11 students embark on what is often described as one of the most transformative experiences of their life: the NCA Service Trip.

For about ten days, students travel internationally to connect with other young people, share their talents, and learn what it truly means to be a global citizen. This is where our mission of service comes to life.

The SOAR Project: Earning Credit Through Service

The spirit of the service trip is also channeled through our SOAR Project.

This initiative grew from past service trips and offers students the opportunity to earn high school credits while serving communities abroad, further connecting their education to real-world impact.
