Teacher Tuesday Faculty Highlight – Cindy Wang

I am very pleased to serve as Guidance Counselor and Administrator responsible for Student Records for Nancy Campbell Academy. I am a mother of 2 children. My son is studying Computer Engineering at McMaster University. I am originally from China and studied at the Lanzhou University of Technology where I earned my Bachelor of Engineering and Master’s of Control Theory and Control Engineering. I had the pleasure of working for this same University in Lanzhou for thirteen years.

I joined Nancy Campbell Academy in Canada in 2012. My role here includes helping young people from around the world find their place as part of the family of students at NCA, assisting in course selection, and guiding them through the application process for college or university. I am happy to have the opportunity to use my experience in international education to assist families, in English or in Mandarin, who wish to provide their young people an opportunity to study at an established, highly respected educational institution in Canada. In addition, I enjoy helping students celebrate asian heritage and culture through aiding in the development and execution of activities such as Lunar New Year, hot pot dinners and wonderful parades.
